Lyon, International Seminar of Labour Law and Industrial Relations from the 27 June 2011 to the 8 July 2011

In association with five European universities, the International Committee chaired by M. Jean-Michel Servais, with the support of the International Society for Labour Law and Social Security ( SIDTSS), the IETL,Institut d’Etudes du Travail de Lyon, organize an International Seminar of Labour Law and Industrial Relations from the 27 June 2011 to the 8 July 2011.

Experts from Italy, Poland, Spain, Germany, Luxembourg, France, Canada, Argentine/Brazil, South Africa, Japan, Morocco, Mali, experts of EU Labour Law and ILO will present reports or participate to round tables.

This Seminar concerns doctoral students and post doc researchers or practitioners of high level. Its goal is to promote exchanges, discussions, and disemination of theoretical ideas and legal practices between participants coming from EU member States, East and Central Europe, developed and emerging countries from North and South. Space of high level and comparative studies, this Summer school of Lyon wants to be a place of debates, network, international forum for ideas about contemporary social problems and propositions of actions and policies. It will unfold in the continuity of the International Seminar of Bordeaux which was organized from 1999 to 2009 by Philippe Auvergnon and the Comptrasec.

The seminar of LYON is organized by the IETL, on the supervision of Madame la Professeure Marie-Ange Moreau ( IETL /ERDS/CRIMT), around a steering committee with Mesdames les Professeures Martine Le Friant ( University of Avignon Cercrid/CRIMT), Sylvaine Laulom ( University of Saint Etienne, ERDS/CERCRID), Alain Bouilloux ( IETL-ERDS), Marie-Cecile Escande-Varniol (IETL-ERDS), Emmanuelle Mazuyer ( CNRS-ERDS-CERCRID)

The reports of the International Seminar will be edited . The applications will be send to the Committee, with a personnel motivated letter and a CV. A certificate for participation will be delivered at the end of the seminar.
